Accenian are currently representing a private Therapeutics company based in London to secure a Senior Medical Director for the team.
With an extensive background in gene therapy and drug development, they are working to develop genetically defined therapies in ophthalmology.
This position will report into the VP of Clinical Development. You will lead the design of clinical development and direct the implementation of clinical trials in gene and ophthalmic indications.
Main responsibilities will include safety oversight, clinical contribution to the regulatory documents and preparation of reports for the clinical programs.
You must have:
• Professional credentials as a Physician.
• Over 5 years experience working in clinical development.
• Experience in Global drug development.
• Translational medicine or early clinical research experience.
• Strong knowledge of international guidelines and regulations. (FDA, ICH and GCP).
